Talented director Srinu Vaitla has been shattered with back to back debacles and he has all his hopes on Ravi Teja’s Amar Akbar Anthony. The film is in final stages of post-production and Ileana D’Cruz is the heroine. Though the film has been initially planned for October release, it has been pushed to November. Srinu Vaitla is keen on wrapping up the work and release it on November 16th but the makers are not ready to go with his decision.

One of the film’s producers Naveen Yerneni is in USA and he is expected to return back to India this weekend. The final call about the release date will be taken once he returns to India. Srinu Vaitla is expected to screen the film for Ravi Teja and the producers after which the final decision about the release date will be made. Srinu Vaitla is keen on having a November release for the film but he is not the decision maker. Ravi Teja is not in a mood to compromise and he wants to re shoot the episodes if he is not convinced with the final output.

Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja reunited with director Sreenu Vaitla for a film titled as Amar Akbar Anthony. The film also marks the comeback of Goa beauty Ileana to Tollywood.

The first look poster of the film has been unveiled this Monday and it reveals the three interesting avatars of Ravi Teja as Amar, Akbar and Anthony. The poster features four playing cards in which three aces present Ravi Teja’s three different looks and fourth card has all three avatars in a single frame.

Interestingly, the poster also has the words ‘ Return Gift’ and aces scattered all over which has leaves audience guessing about the film’s plot. No doubt, the poster clarifies Sreenu Vaitla is coming up with a different theme, but can he make a strong comeback ? We have to wait and see.

Tollywood circles have been finding it tough to get Visas after the busted sex racket in USA. Srinu Vaitla’s next outing Amar Akbar Anthony has been planned to be shot in USA and after a huge delay the team landed in USA. Ravi Teja and Ileana D’Cruz are the lead actors in the film. The shoot will take place in and around New York for the next 45 days without breaks.

Though the schedule was initially planned in June, it got delayed. Srinu Vaitla managed to wrap up the remaining shoot in India after which he flew to USA. Mythri Movie Makers are producing this action thriller and Amar Akbar Anthony will release during December this year.

Having united with his lucky mascot Sreenu Vaitla, with whom he delivered decent hits like ‘Venky’ and ‘Dubai Sreenu’, the film, telugu360.com has learnt, will be releasing on September 28.

Recently, some talkie portions (in Hyatt) and a song (in Annapurna) were shot in Hyderabad. The extensive US schedule, we hear, will be wrapped up by September 2, post which the unit will work at a jet speed on post-production to release the flick for September 28. “It’s the best date the makers have and they are looking at it seriously as of now. If they delay it further, they’d be required to clash with NTR’s ‘Aravinda Sametha Raghava’ which has already booked its berth for October 2nd week. Mythri Movie Makers want to avert the clash as they share a great relation with Tarak and have told Vaitla to complete the proceedings on time so that there’d be a two-week gap between both the anticipated films,” said a source.

‘Amar Akbar Anthony’, a full-fledged comic entertainer, with Ileana alongside Ravi Teja, has music by SS Thaman. Sunil and a battery of other noted comedians like Jayaprakash Reddy, Srinivas Reddy, Vennela Kishore and Shakalaka Shankar are also a part of the cast.
