Vijay Devarakonda film with Anand Shankar to be an intense drama

Young Tollywood sensation Vijay Devarakonda became an overnight star with the stupendous success of emotional romantic drama Arjun Reddy. With the new found craze, Vijay signed multiple projects in Tollywood and also set sights on creating a space in Kollywood with his recent signing of a Tamil – Telugu bilingual.

He will be teaming up Tamil director Anand Shankar and it is going to be a hard hitting commercial drama. Vijay’s role in this untitled film will be very Intense contrary to what he did till now. The pre production activities are currently in full swing and the regular shooting will commence in Summer next year. Studio Green is backing this project.

In Telugu, the Pelli Choopulu actor is busy with nearly five projects which are in different stages of production.

Vijay Devarakonda signs a Bilingual

Young and talented Vijay Devarakonda surprised the audience with his outstanding performance in Arjun Reddy. The actor has been rushed up with many films however he has been picking up interesting ones among the approached ones. The actor wrapped up Taxi Wala and is busy with Parasuram’s next film which is bankrolled by Geetha Arts. The movie has been titled Geetha Govindam and will release next year. He is even playing a crucial role in Mahanati, the biopic of legendary actress Savitri.

The latest update says that the actor has been impressed with the script of young director Anand Shankar and signed the film. Anand Shankar made an impressive debut with Arima Nambi and he recently directed Vikram’s Inkokkadu (Iru Murugan). The film will start rolling next year and will be produced by KE Gnanavelraja on Studio Green banner. The movie will be shot in Telugu and Tamil languages.
