Sai Dharam Tej to team up with critically acclaimed filmmaker

After tasting a series of flops, Mega hero Sai Dharam Tej is choosing scripts wisely. He scored a much-needed success with Chitralahari. Now, he is gearing up to commence shooting for his next project which will be helmed by Maruthi. The formal launch of this film will be held in this week.

Meanwhile, the Supreme and Pataas actor has given nod to work with critically acclaimed filmmaker Deva Katta. Sources revealed that the Prasthanam director has narrated a story to Sai and impressed him with his narration. It is going to be a social drama with an intense backdrop. Deva Katta is currently busy with a web series Shivagami, a prequel to Baahubali.

After completing the web series, Deva Katta will start working on Sai Dharam Tej’s film. More details about the project will be out soon.

Deva Katta to direct Vijay Devarakonda

Young actor Vijay Devarakonda has been working round the clock to wrap up his commitments. He is in plans to have atleast three releases next year and he already wrapped up Taxiwala and is busy wrapping up Geetha Govindam in the direction of Parasuram. The actor is said to have given his nod for over half a dozen films with top production houses of Telugu cinema. Now the latest news we hear is that the young actor has been extremely impressed with Deva Katta’s script and signed the project.

Deva Katta who impressed the audience with Prasthanam failed to repeat the magic with his next projects. After a small gap, he is all set with his next film and top production house Bhavya Creations will produce this untitled film. However, a clarity is expected about the shooting schedules of the film as Vijay Devarakonda is occupied with several projects. The actor recently signed a film for Tamil director Anand Shankar. Vijay and Deva Katta film will start rolling next year and more details soon.

Vishnu Manchu’s Dynamite will be released in USA, UK, UAE and Nepal. A premier show is also planned in the US on September 3rd, a day before it releases in India. Raj K, CEO of 24Frames Factory USA, says theater owners are eagerly awaiting the release as there is good buzz about the film amongst film-goers.‎ It’s an absolute family entertainer that has global appeal, he adds.

Action star Vishnu’s films have done very well at overseas markets and we are confident that Dynamite will create new overseas box office record for our production, Raj stated.Theater owners overseas are equally upbeat as the footfalls for Telugu films are on a new high. It’s a new wave, as Telugu movie content is garnering good attention. Directed by Deva Katta, the film has Pranitha Subhash as the film’s leading lady.
