Young director Vikram Kumar, who bagged back to back hits with Ishq and Manam,is currently working with Suriya for ’24’. The film is going to hit the screens in January.

A close source to the director revealed that he is likely to direct Akhil’s second film. It is learnt that he has recently narrated the storyline to Nagarjuna and Akhil and got the go ahead from both of them. If everything goes as planned, Annapurna Studios banner will pool in money for this project. An official confirmation regarding this news is yet to be received.

In the meantime, Akhil is gearing up for the grand release of his debut film.
