Mega hero Sai Dharam Tej after six disasters is on a break and is preparing himself for his next film Chitralahari. Kishore Tirumala will direct this comic entertainer and the regular shoot kick-starts this month. An official launch took place during Dasara and Kalyani Priyadarshan has been locked as one of the heroines in Chitralahari.

Tamil actress Nivetha Pethuraj has been roped in as the second female lead in Chitralahari. The actress was last seen in Sree Vishnu’s Mental Madhilo and Jayam Ravi’s Tik Tik Tik. Devi Sri Prasad is composing the tunes and Karthik Ghattamaneni is the cinematographer. Mythri Movie Makers are producing Chitralahari.

Sai Dharam Tej to romance Hello beauty

Mega hero Sai Dharam Tej is ready with a new look for his next outing with Nenu Shailaja fame director Kishore Tirumala. The film is tentatively titled as Chitralahari and Mythri Movie Makers will bankroll it. The formal launch of this event will take place tomorrow in Hyderabad and the regular shooting will commence from November.

The latest update reveals that Kishore Tirumala has roped in ‘Hello’ beauty Kalyani Priyadarshan as the film’s leading lady. As this is a rom-com, the makers are looking for a talented actress who could justify the subtle role. So, they felt that Kalyani will be a perfect fit for the role and cast her in this film.

Kalyani Priyadarshan made her debut with Akhil’s Hello. She is also the heroine in Sharwanand’s next flick.

Hello heroine signs second film ?

Kalyani, daughter of well known director Priyadarshan, made her silver screen debut with Akhil starrer Hello. Kalyani received good appreciation for her lovely screen presence in the film. Though the film didn’t succeed commercially, Kalyani is getting some interesting offers.

Now, it is learnt that the young starlet has been approached for the second female lead’s role in Sharwanand’s next film. Director Sudheer Varma felt that Kalyani could bring in the freshness needed for the character he designed. She is likely to sign the dotted line soon.

Initially the makers have approached Nithya Menon for the role. But, the talks didn’t negotiate due to remuneration issues.

Kajal Aggarwal is the leading lady.

Akhil Akkineni has been busy shooting for his second project in the direction of Vikram Kumar. The makers are quite specific about the female lead as she has a crucial role to essay. After an extensive, search Vikram and his team opted out for a fresh face and the search took so long that two big schedules of the movie have been wrapped up. Akhil shot some crucial action episodes and other combination scenes for this untitled project. There have been speculations that veteran director Priyadarshan’s daughter Kalyani has been in talks for the role.

The makers have been eagerly waiting for her decision and the latest update is that Kalyani Priyadarshan will romance Akhil in his second film. Kalyani is making her debut as an actress and she earlier worked as an assistant director for Vikram’s Okkadunnadu. Kalyani will join the sets from the next schedule which is expected to start soon. Anup Rubens is the music composer and Annapurna Studios is producing this romantic saga.
