Three biggies featuring stars like Megastar Chiranjeevi, Bollywood Superstar Aamir Khan and Pan-Indian actor Prabhas released this year. These films Acharya, Laal Singh Chaddha and Radhe Shyam failed to report decent footfalls. The audience were disappointed with the lackluster content from the trailers and they showed no interest to watch these films in theatres. At the same time, there were debates that the digital platforms took over the theatres and the theatre industry will tumble down completely.

It is then films like Bimbisara, Sita Ramam and Karthikeya 2 released. All these three films came up with different content, rich production values and some impressive performances though they had no Superstars in the lead roles. All these three films are declared as blockbusters and they are running with packed houses. Despite new releases, Bimbisara and Sita Ramam are super strong in their second weekend. Sita Ramam opened on a dull note and gained strength every single day. The weekdays collections are higher than the film’s weekend numbers. The audience proved that they are ready to watch interesting content in theatres and they are not bothered about stars. After a dull June and July, August is back with a bang with decent hits already. All eyes are now focused on Vijay Deverakonda’s Liger.

Krishna is truth and the truth has won, says producer of ‘Karthikeya 2’

The unit of director Chandoo Mondeti’s Telugu film ‘Karthikeya 2’, which is ecstatic with the audience’s response to the film, has thanked the audience, the media and the well wishers of the film its gratitude.

Taking to Twitter, the film’s producer, Abhishek Agarwal wrote: “We made a film with belief in Bhagwan Shri Krishna and to tell the world about the legend and legacy of Bhagwan Shri Krishna.”

“In spite of many hurdles, we strove to give you the best cinematic experience and we are glad that you loved the film. Thank you to all our media friends, well wishers and the audience for making ‘Karthikeya 2’ a blockbuster. Krishna is truth and the truth has won! Thank you!”

The film, featuring actor Nikhil Siddhartha and Anupama Parameswaran in the lead, was originally scheduled to be released on July 22. However, the release of the film was postponed to the first week of August. It eventually released on August 13 to rave reviews from the critics and the audience.

Nikhil Siddhartha’s ‘Karthikeya 2’ release likely to be postponed

After the big success of suspense thriller ‘Karthikeya’, Telugu actor Nikhil Siddhartha is back with a same genre movie ‘Karthikeya 2’.

But the release of the movie on July 22, the scheduled date, does not seem to be happening as the makers intend to postpone it.

Reportedly, producer Dil Raju has requested to validate another release date for ‘Karthikeya 2’, as he wants to secure a solo release for his project ‘Thank You’, which stars Naga Chaitanya and Raashi Khanna.

If the reports are to be believed, Nikhil’s movie ‘Karthikeya 2’ will hit the screens in August. However there is no set date yet for the movie.

‘Karthikeya 2’ has Nikhil Siddhartha, Anupama Parameswaran and Vennela Kishore in the lead roles. Directed by Chandoo Mondeti, the theatrical trailer of ‘Karthikeya 2’ received so many positive reviews, as the audience await the release of this mystery-based movie.

Watch: Intriguing Poster Of Karthikeya 2

It is known that Nikhil and Chandoo Mondeti are working on the sequel for Karthikeya. The project is titled Karthikeya 2. The first motion poster of Karthikeya 2 has been unveiled and it looks really intriguing and compelling. It suggests that Karthikeya 2 is based on the mysterious underwater town of Dwarakanagaram. 

The poster opens with an ocean backdrop and we then see Nikhil, Anupama Parameswaran, and comedian YSR sporting a puzzled look on their faces as they ride a boat. Nikhil and Anupama look sharp in the poster. 

“Samudram daachukunna athi pedda rahasyam… ee Dwarakanagaram” the dialogue in the motion poster reads and this hypes up the proceedings. The background score is a adrenaline-pumping and the curiosity is amped up nicely with excellent visuals. 

The film is directed by Chandoo Mondeti. People Media Factory and Abishek Agarwal Arts are jointly producing the film, which is billed to be the costliest film in Nikhil’s career. 

The motion poster gets the promotions off to the right start. Bollywood veteran Anupam Kher plays an important role in the film. Makers are planning to release on 22nd July 2022.
