Nagarjuna, Naga Chaitanya confident about success of ‘Bangarraju’
The musical night event of Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya-starrer ‘Bangarraju’ was held in Hyderabad as the father-son duo sounded confident about the movie’s success.
Nagarjuna, during his speech, revealed that the theatrical trailer of ‘Bangarraju’ will be launched on January 11, a couple of days before the movie hits the screens.
The ‘Manmadhudu’ actor also remembers January 14, the release date of ‘Bangarraju’, as an important day for Annapurna Studios, because it was founded on the same date.
As the movie is prepping up with the other release formalities, Nagarjuna said, “Bangarraju is a proper Sankranthi festival film. It can be enjoyed with your friends and family this Sankranthi season.”
Naga Chaitanya thanked his team who had made it to the movie’s release even during the pandemic. As Chaitanya lauded director Kalyan Krishna, music director Anup Rubens, and the other team members, he became quite emotional.
“Telugu’s classical movie ‘Manam’ is one of the best movies for our family. Anup, who composed a blockbuster album for ‘Manam’ has hit the bull’s eye for ‘Bangarraju’, as I see all the songs from the movie have become viral”, Chaitanya said.
Chaitanya also conveyed that the movie will bring in the festivity. “Bangarraju has imbibed all the aspects of entertainment. We will bring the Sankranthi festival to the theatres.”
The music event ended on a high note, creating much buzz on the upcoming release of ‘Bangarraju’. Krithi Shetty, Faria Abdullah, other actresses, and the entire team were present at the musical event.
Naga Chaitanya and Nagarjuna are to appear on the screen together in this movie, which is billed as a socio-fantasy drama, touted to be a sequel to ‘Soggade Chinni Nayana’.
Helmed by Kalyan Krishna, the movie also stars Ramya Krishna, Krithi Shetty, Faria Abdulla, and others in important roles.
While many other biggies like ‘Bheemla Nayak’, ‘Radhe Shyam’, and ‘RRR’ backed off from the Sankranthi race, ‘Bangarraju’ is set for theatrical release on January 14.
How Love Story team completed shoot without a single case of Coronavirus?
Talented and sensible filmmaker Sekhar Kammula’s next directorial Love Story is waiting to release soon. Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi are the lead actors in this breezy romantic entertainer. The makers continued the shoot for more than three months after the arrival of the coronavirus pandemic. Sekhar Kammula even decided to reshoot some of the portions after he was not convinced with some of the episodes. When the unit members of other films are infected with coronavirus, not a single case for coronavirus is reported on the sets of Love Story.
The makers of the film took special care of the entire unit members and imposed strict coronavirus rules and guidelines issued by the government. The team of Love Story managed to shoot with a crew of 100 members and they offered nutritious food for everyone on the sets. Along with the regular menu, milk, eggs, fruits and multi-vitamin tablets were served for the entire crew members. All the 100 members are insured for Rs 3 lakhs and this costed Rs 50 lakhs for the makers. The makers are quite happy as none of the unit members is tested positive for coronavirus during these tough times.

The second wave of coronavirus is all over the country and some of the states imposed restrictions to bring things to their control. The cases are slowly taking a rise in AP and Telangana. As of now, Vakeel Saab is the only film that will have a wide and comfortable release during this coronavirus season. Akkineni star couple’s surprise in Manmadhudu 2
Akkineni star couple Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Akkineni are testing their luck with Majili which is hitting the screens today. The film opened with huge positive response and opened with a bang. They are set to surprise the Tollywood audience with a special appearance in Manmadhudu 2. King Nagarjuna and Rakul Preet Singh are the lead actors in this romantic drama directed by Rahul Ravindran.
Chaitanya and Samantha will play real-life couple as Nag’s son and daughter-in-law in the film. They will be seen in a cameo in the film and will thrill the audience during the climax of the film. In ‘Majili’ hero Naga Chaitanya will be seen in two different variations; one as a young aspiring cricketer and second as the middle-aged man.
However, the team of ‘Majili’ claims that this is not a cricket backdrop movie, in fact, has a lot of family emotions. In the latter half, Chay and Samantha will be seen as husband and wife. The emotions between them are going to stand out. The chemistry between the real-life couple will be a highlight.
The characters of Chay and Sam are strong authored backed roles and so we can expect some quality performance from the duo. With a good response to the teaser and songs, the lead cast of ‘Majili’ is busy with promotions and there is a good buzz about the film. Maruthi ropes in happening beauty for Chaitu’s flick
Successful filmmaker Maruthi, who is basking in the glory of his latest success with Mahanabhavudu, is going to team up Akkineni Naga Chaitanaya for a family drama which is going to kick start in November. The script work for this project is currently underway.
The latest we hear that happening beauty Anu Emanuel has been roped in for the film’s leading lady role. Maruti himself confirmed this news during the interaction with media. Initially, there were rumours that Samantha will share screen space with Chaitu in this film. Sources say that the film will be a typical blend of romance and comedy in Maruthi’s style.
Sithara Entertainments banner will produce this film which is expected to hit the screens for Summer next year.
