Akhil Akkineni is all set with his second film Hello which has been aimed for Christmas release. Vikram Kumar is the director of this romantic entertainer and Kalyani Priyadarshan is the female lead. The entire shoot of the movie has been wrapped up recently and the post-production work of Hello is currently on cards. A grand audio event has been celebrated today in Vizag and the whole movie unit along with Nagarjuna and Amala attended the audio launch. Akkineni Naga Chaitanya and Samantha have been occupied with shoots and missed the grand audio launch.

Chaitu and Samantha surprised the team of Hello and Akkineni fans with a video byte wishing the team all the best. Chaitu revealed that he always wanted Akhil to do a love story and expressed that he is eagerly waiting for the release of Hello. Samantha conveyed her wishes to the team and reminded about Vikram Kumar’s magic for Manam. Anup Rubens performed live and the audio of the movie has been released today. Nagarjuna is producing Hello which has been slated for December 22nd release. The title song promo video has been quite impressive and Hello has been carrying massive expectations.

Nag arranged a special press meet to reveal about the updates along with the promotional plans of the film. Impressed with Vikram’s work, Nag wanted him to direct Naga Chaitanya soon and the young director too gave his nod.

Vikram Kumar will work with Naga Chaitanya during early 2019 after he wraps up his commitments after Hello. Nagarjuna will bankroll the project and more details will be out soon. In this gap, Chaitu will wrap up Savyasachi and his next with Maruthi. Akhil pinned all his hopes on Hello and the movie features Kalyani Priyadarshan in the female lead.

The movie will have its official launch tomorrow in a grand event and the regular shoot will kick-start during February 2018. Dusky beauty Anu Emmanuel is the female lead in the film and the actress has been signing back to back biggies in Tollywood. Young producer Vamshi Suryadevara who produced movies like Premam and Babu Bangaram has been occupied with the production responsibilities of Pawan Kalyan’s next in the direction of Trivikram Srinivas. After a decent break, he is all set for two back to back projects on his prestigious Sithara Entertainments banner. Naga Chaitanya signed his next in the direction of Maruthi and the film has been titled Sailaja Reddy Alludu. The film will be launched officially on November 25th and the regular shoot will start next year.

Sharwanand and Sudheer Varma are teaming up for a new age action thriller and the film will be launched officially on November 27th in Hyderabad. The film too will start its regular proceedings from February 2018 and the film will hit the screens during the second half of 2018. Sharwanand will play two different roles in this action thriller and he recently started shooting for his next in the direction of Hanu Raghavapudi which is a romantic entertainer.

Actress Nidhhi Agerwal, who made her Bollywood debut with “Munna Michael” earlier this year, says she will be seen as an innocent and independent girl in her upcoming Telugu film “Savyasachi”.

“‘Savyasachi’ is an action romantic film and I’m getting to work with some very nice people. I play the role of a simple girl who’s very innocent and independent,” Nidhhi said in a statement.

“So, it’s not so glamorous like ‘Munna Michael’. It’s fun, actually, to play a contrasting role. The Telugu industry and their scripts are extremely nice. I’ve noticed that Hindi films do well in the north, but they don’t do that well in the south. But, I want everything! I want the north and the south,” she added.

“Savyasachi”, which also stars R. Madhavan and Naga Chaitanya, has been directed by Chandoo Mondeti.

Niddhi, who comes from a non-filmy background, says she had “a lot of struggle” becoming an actress.

“But, I think that if you have a difficult dream then there will be struggle. In my head, I was prepared that the journey is going to be very difficult, but it is what I want. During difficult times, I never complain because it will be there and I know that.

“I accepted that it would be very difficult to become an actor and it’s even tougher once you become an actor. When you’re in the process of becoming an actor, you think that you just need to get that one film. But once you get that one film, the stress increases. So yes, a lot of struggle, a lot of loneliness sometimes self-doubt also,” she said.

Directed by Sabbir Khan, “Munna Michael”, which also featured Tiger Shroff, will be aired on &pictures on Saturday.

Initially, there was talk that hero Madhavan was part of the cast for Savyasachi but there was no official confirmation from the makers. Now its become official with Madhavan joining the Akkineni hero at the set of Savyasachi for filming in Hyderabad. Nothing is revealed about the role being played by Maddy in the movie but director Chandu hinted that the character gives an interesting turn to the entire film and it will take audiences by surprise. It is well known that Teja will next direct Venkatesh in an interesting film which has been titled as Aata Naade Veta Naade. Venky will be seen playing a professor in the film. Teja is planning to rope both Rana and Chay to appear for a brief time in cameo roles in this film. If this news turns out to be true, it would be a treat for fans to watch both Rana and Chay sharing screen space with their uncle.

The regular shooting will commence from the next month. Suresh Babu will bankroll the film.

Virinchi Varma later narrated the script of Majnu to Naga Chaitanya but things did not work out. Now Virinchi Varma and Nagarjuna are keen on working together and Nag will produce his next. Virinchi Varma narrated a script to Chaitu but the final call will be taken only after the final draft will be ready.

Annapurna Studios will be producing the film if things fall in place. Chaitu who is busy with the shoot of Chandoo Mondeti’s Savyasachi will work with Maruthi early next year. Hence Virinchi Varma is having ample time to work on the script and step out with an interesting project. Veteran producer ML Kumar Chowdary too is planning a film with Virinchi Varma and things will be announced officially once they are finalized.

Mahesh Babu recently faced biggest disaster of his career in the form of SPYder movie. While there are so many reasons for this movie becoming flop – like wrong title, setting wrong expectation, no heroism, miscasting , loop holes in story , screenplay etc, there is also one issue at the core of all this and now there are doubts whether Naga Chaitanya repeating the same mistake.

Naga Chaitanya currently doing movie in the direction of Chandu Mondeti which is titled “Savyasachi”. For this movie they are considering Madhavan by offering him 4 crores and this amount might be more than Naga Chaitanya’s remuneration. They are planning to do bilingual to recover that high budget and to cash on Madhavan’s craze in Hindi.

But the mistake that the SPYder team did is – to make it a bilingual and satisfy the sensibilities of both Telugu and Tamil audience. But what resulted is this. There is a saying in Hindi – “Dhobhi ka kutta , na ghar kaa, na ghaat kaa” which means washer man’s dog belong to neither the house nor the ghat. So the film couldn’t satisfy audience of both the languages. If they had sincerely stick to the script and fixed the loop holes in screen play probably it may work. There are many movies that were hits in more than one or 2 languages. But in the name of bilingual, if the makers try to “add” the elements to satisfy the audience, the result is always a big boomerang.

Hope Chandu Mondeti’s decision to take Madhavan and make it a bilingual doesn’t dilute or modify the script just for the sake of bilingual and makers stick to their script and prove successful bilingual movies could also be made!!!

Yesteryear actress Savitri, who is popular with the sobriquet Mahanati, left an indelible mark on South audience. Now, her life history is going to be made as a feature film in Telugu and Tamil. Nag Aswin is the director and the film stars Keerthi Suresh in the titular role.

Being the contemporaries of the legendary actress, the iconic Telugu superstars NTR and ANR will have a considerable relevance in this biopic. However, the makers of Mahanati are in a fix to find actors who can portray these two characters.

Initially, the makers have approached Jr. NTR to play his grandfather’s role. But the actor was absolutely reluctant and has turned down the offer. Now, they have approached Naga Chaitanaya to reprise the role of his grandfather ANR in this biopic.

Close sources revealed that Chaitu is willing to act without any remuneration, but has one condition : he will play ANR only if it is Jr NTR who dons NTR’s role. Producer Aswini Dutt has tried to convince NTR, but he is noncommittal to get into the shoes of his grandfather’s role.

So, they have now approached Nani for NTR’s role. However, it is yet to be known whether Chaitu agrees to come on board or not.The dilemma over NTR and ANR roles is likely to end very soon.
