Mega hero Varun Tej, who is on a high with the critically acclaimed success of his recent outing Kanche, is now gearing up for the release of his next film, Loafer, which will hit the screens in December.

Ace filmmaker Puri Jagannadh is the director for the film.The shooting has been completed recently and the post production is currently on. Initially, the film was titled Loafer and then the makers contemplated a change to suit the genre of the film. But, they have finally decided to go with the same title. The film is said to be a emotional drama packed with Puri Jagannadh’s trademark commercial elements.

The first look posters were released a few hours ago. Varun Tej was seen sporting a rugged look in these posters. Disha Patani is the female lead in the film and Sunil Kashyap is the music director. C. Kalyan is the producer for the film.
