Tax Exemption for Rudhramadevi in Nizam

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao exempted the entertainment tax on Gunasekhar’s upcoming film Rudhramadevi.

Earlier today, Gunasekhar met KCR and asked him to watch the film. He also requested him to exempt the entertainment tax on the historical film. KCR has accepted the plea and said that he will watch the film very soon. He thanked Gunasekhar and the team for bringing the history of Kakatiya warrior princess to the audience.

Starring Anushka in the lead role, Rudhramadevi has Rana, Allu Arjun, Prakash Raj and few others in prominent roles. The film is gearing up for a massive release worldwide tomorrow.

Filmmaker Gunasekhar gunned down all the rumors that have been shrouding the release of his most ambitious epic drama, Rudhramadevi. Few days ago, the film’s postponement looked evident due to the flurry of rumors in the media.

Finally, Gunasekhar cleared the air on the news and announced that the film will surely hit the screens on October 9th. He further added that both the 2D and 3D versions will simultaneously hit the screens on the same day.

Featuring an ensemble cast in the form of Anushka, Allu Arjun, Rana and few others, Rudhramadevi is the first ever stereoscopic 3D film of the country. Music wizard Illayaraja composed the tunes and Guna Team Works banner has produced it.
