The long-awaited teaser of superstar Mahesh Babu’s ‘SPYder’ is finally here. Well, it may leave eagerly-waiting fans with diverging opinions. It’s not exactly a teaser but more like a glimpse of Spyder.

As the promo begins, a Robo Spyder is seen crawling on crossed legs of Mahesh, who is sitting on a chair, showing his back to screen, typing on system. As the Spyder slowly crawls from his back to his shoulder, he turns towards it and says ‘Shhhh’. And, the ‘Spyder’ title appears. That’s it.This short promo has more screen space for a ‘Robo Spyder’ than Mahesh. There is no hint of film’s concept, even if it was there, not many would understand it.

Mahesh looked at his handsome best in the 5-odd seconds that his face is shown in the promo. Harris Jayaraj’s background score is the major takeaway from this intriguing teaser. He looks to have used some fresh musical instruments to generate that captivating soundtrack. The Spyder animation work also looked top notch.Keeping aside the film’s mysterious concept, the promo has promised a technically brilliant film in store.

AR Murugadoss is known for designing unique posters and cutting intriguing promos. He may have created another such promo here but it’s too cryptic to be decoded. Fans, who were expecting glimpses of Mahesh’s dialogues, stylish appearances or action scenes may get disappointed with this promo.
