Nithya Menen’s stunning look from Jayalalithaa’s Biopic

The iron lady first look

To coincide with the second death anniversary of legendary politician Jayalalithaa, the first look poster of her highly anticipated biopic has been released. Nithya Menen is playing the lead role in this film titled ‘The Iron Lady’ and will be directed by Priyadhaarshini. Nithya Menen shocks everyone in the poster as she looks exactly the same as Jayalalithaa.

The film’s regular shoot will commence early next year and Nithya Menen is currently preparing herself for the role. Papertale Pictures will produce The Iron Lady and the makers are keen on releasing film during December 2019. A series of biopics have been announced on Jayalalithaa and we have to wait to see which of them will release as per the plan.

Nitya Menon finalized for Jaya Lalitha’s biopic

Following the latest trend of biopics on political leaders and film stars, director JJ Priyadarshini has announced a biopic on iconic actress and political leader Jaya Lalitha. The pre production activities of this prestigious project are currently underway in Chennai.

According to the latest reports, talented actress Nitya Menon has been finalized to play Jayalalitha’s role. The film has been officially titled as ‘ The Iron Lady’ and Nitya will step into the shoes of Jaya Lalitha. Priyadarshini felt Nitya can justify the lead role because of her versatility and flair for acting mettle. L
Also, the fact that Nitya’s height and appearance have close resemblance to Jaya Lalitha is another reason for choosing her.

Impressed with the narration and character, Nitya immediately gave the nod. The regular shooting will commence from February next year. PaperTale pictures will bankroll the film.

Jayalalitha biopic: Sharath Kumar daughter Vara lakshmi to enact ‘Iron lady’

It’s biopic season in South India. NTR, MGR and many others lives will soon be unveiled on silver screen. Latest to join this list is Jayalalitha biopic. This movie is titled “Iron lady” and will have Vara Lakshmi, daughter of actor Sharat Kumar, in lead role. Vara Lakshmi made her debut with the Tamil film Podaa Podi in 2012. So far she acted in around 20 movies in Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam

The first poster of this “Iron Lady” movie, directed by Priyadarshini, was unveiled by director AR Murugadoss. He tweeted, “Extremely happy and excited to launch the Title poster of #Jayalalithaabiopic #THEIRONLADY I wish @priyadhaarshini and team for a grand success..” The poster also revealed that the team will hold a grand inauguration ceremony at later point of time.

Priyadarshini earlier worked as associate of director Mysskin, who directed films like Pishachi and Detective. Priyadarshini wants to start this film’s shooting on February 24, which happens to be Jayalalitha’s birthday. “This film has been planned to reach people in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi languages,” Priyadarshini said in a statement.
