Raja the great has closed it’s business worldwide with a distributor share of over 30.5 Cr. This is the first film for the hero to surpass 30cr mark. The film did very well in Nizam and Uttarandhra as it has crossed 11cr mark and collected nearly 4cr respectively . It did decent to good business in East Godavari,West Godavari , Krishna and Nellore, But it under performed big in Ceeded and Guntur where mass films are bound to do well. Investors have lost significant amounts in these areas. Bad performance for the film came in overseas where it is a flop.

Considering that the film has collected above 30cr and did decent to good business except few areas, it can be termed as an ABOVE AVERAGE

Raju Gari Gadhi 2 ends up it’s theatrical run with a distributor share of over 18 crores worldwide. This film had a good first weekend, dropped from Monday which was the similar trend for all October releases later.

In Telangana, Raju Gari Gadhi 2 was an own release, did collect decent distributor share of 6.25 Cr. In Andhra Pradesh, it is a loss venture for all involved parties.

In Overseas the film had performed poor right from Day One due to the genre, contrary to domestic business where atleast first weekend was good. In USA, it had collected only $325,000 gross by the end of it’s run. However, there ain’t any loss for anyone as it was an own release here.

If we consider the film as a Nagarjuna Starrer, final share is very low for his film’s calibre. But, due to the fact that producer released on their own in many big markets, losses to the distributors, exhibitors were minimized. Thus, negative impact appears minimal though it had collected less for Nagarjuna range.

Overall, the film can be termed as BELOW AVERAGE at box-office.

Nagarjuna-KRR’s Om Namo Venkatesaya has finished its run worldwide. The distributor share of the film is 10.2 Cr. The film is an epic disaster with over 60% loss to buyers thus putting an end to the success streak of Nagarjuna.

The film an All Time disaster in Overseas with more than 5.5 Cr loss for the distributor. Nizam distributor has lost more than 4.5 Cr as he has bought the film for 7.20 Cr NRA (8 Cr advance). Uttarandhra area buyer has seen an approx 2Cr loss while East/West Godavari area distrubutor has lost an approx 3Cr. Krishna and Ceeded was own release by the hero through regional distributors which means he has recovered less than 30% of his remuneration.

This is 4th devotional film from the duo and 1st Disaster. Even Shiridi Sai was an Average. The film is a biggest disaster for buyers in Devotional films but Sri Rama Rajyam was even a loss venture for the producer.

The film had a strange trend at boxoffice as it continued to do decent business only over the weekends. The film had other competing films every week. The word of mouth was decent. So what’s the actual reason for the film not performing on weekdays. A proper release date or majority of the audience loosing interest ?

Megastar Chiranjeevi’s return to silversceen can be termed as a comeback of sorts as Khaidi No 150 punched out solid revenues in all areas of its release. The Kaththi Telugu remake has amassed 102 Crores worldwide, making it the only film after Baahubali to surpass the 100Cr mark. Even the current generation star heros couldn’t achieve this rare feat. Only Mahesh’s Srimanthudu (84.5 Cr Share) is close to these two films.

The film has slightly underperformed in Nizam though it is all time Top 5 th grosser when compared to Andhra Pradesh where it stood in 2nd spot in the list of top grossing films Chiranjeevi stamped authority in Uttarandhra Area by beating the mighty baahubali. Sankranthi advantage is less in Nizam area when compared to other areas, which makes it looks like an underperformer in Nizam. The film was valued for 21.60 Cr as it was an own release but it didn’t achieve the mark. The exhibitors here are in the safe zone though.

The film emerged as top 2nd grosser in Karnataka+TN+North India Markets overall and is placed in Top3 in Overseas.

Nandamuri Balakrishna’s prestigious 100th film, Gauthamiputra Satakarni has completed its theatrical run worldwide. The final distributor share of the film is 49.70 Cr worldwide.

The Krish directional has collected 37.75 Cr in Telugu States incurring losses to buyers in Krishna, Guntur , Ceeded and Nellore areas. The film has just entered the safe zone in Nizam , Uttarandhra and East regions. The only area that is profitable for the buyer is west Godavari.

The film took a good opening and stood its pace till the end of 1st week. But, from the 2nd week other Sankranthi releases have completely dominated the box office. So, GPS buyers in few areas of AP and TG suffered minor losses.

However, the film ensured profits for buyers in Karnataka and Rest of India.

Overseas has been the most profitable and best performing area for the film, where it stood as all Time Top 8th ever with a Gross of 1.661 Million USD. It performed decently outside USA too, but released late in UAE which has dented some Collections.

Overall the film can be termed as an Above Average.

Nani Majnu Worldwide full run box office Collections

Nani’s Majnu has ended it’s run with a worldwide share of 14.95. Theatrical rights of the film including expenses are valued at 18Cr. The movie is an average Grosser with most of the buyers facing losses.

Majnu has performed best in Nizam, UA & West Godavari areas with major contribution from Hyderabad , Vizag cities respectively.
West Godavari area should have worked due to the regional factor in the film.
Major letdown for the film as well as Nani is the performance in USA. With good web ratings it has failed to do atleast 700k and has put a break for the hero’s winning streak there.

The release date also worked a bit against the film in Telugu states with most the centres removing it by the start of festival season as collections slowed down after 1st week due to the release of another medium budget film and a general dull collections during the pre festive period.

Directed by Avasarala Srinivas , Naga Shourya-Nara Rohith-Regina Cassandra starrer ‘Jyo Achyutananda’ movie was distributed in USA by the production house Sai Korrapati’s ‘Varahi chalana chithram’. ‘Jyo…’ has collected $615,000 in USA and for a mid to small budget movie, casting non-superstars, that is impressive in terms of gross. But, the other side of the coin, fate of the exhibitors’ is different.

Released on September 9th 2016, Jyo Achyutananda’s pre-release was benefited from July 29th released Pellichoopulu movie. Box-office mania created by ‘Pelli Choopulu’ in USA, had helped next release, same genre class movie ‘Jyo..’ to be sold at unreasonable prices to local city-wise exhibitors. USA distributor ‘Varahi’ sold “Jyo Achyutananda “at a ratio of $800K plus” to the local exhibitors. In few cities, where they could not get fancy offers, producer cum USA distributor ‘Varahi’ released on their own.

‘Jyo Achyutananda’ has collected a $615,000 gross i.e. $322,000 Share in USA. In INR ,USA closing share is 2 Crore 12 lakhs.

For worldwide share calculations purpose,’Jyo..’ USA theatrical share is 2 crore 12 lakh rupees.

From Profit/loss calculation POV , ‘Jyo..’ USA exhibitors had lost 55-60% of their investment – “wherever it is sold” to local exhibitors. ‘Jyo..’ was sold at a “ratio of $800K”, collected a $322K share.

In a nutshell, producer cum distributor Mr. Sai Korrapati has walked away with solid profits, exhibitors lost heavy amounts.

Venkatesh’s Babu Bangaram has ended its worldwide run at a theatrical share of 25.3 Cr, thus marking 1st solo film for the star to cross 25cr mark. This movie secured a share of 21.2 Cr in the Telugu States and remaining 4.1 Cr from outside.

Worldwide theatricals of the film are sold at 29 Cr. The final verdict of the film is just average as more than half of the buyers have lost their money and other half have just recovered it. Biggest loss is in Overseas though the film did decently considering very mixed word of mouth. The film hadn’t able to sustain enough after the good 4 day opening which resulted an average.

Full Run Worldwide Share : Soggade Chinni Nayana

Akkineni Nagarjuna’s family entertainer Soggade Chinni Nayana has struck gold at the box office is known fact to all of us. Nagarjuna was the show stealer with his stupendous performance in dual roles, and the entertaining elements have struck the right chord with the audience.

With the super success of Manam movie and Super hit game show Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu, Nagarjuna has regained his lost glory in the family audience segment and even at the Box-office.

This film in its full run has collected 37.85 Cr distributor share in AP and Telangana States, 7.70 Cr in outside markets summing it up to a total of 45.15 Crores World Wide. It is Nagarjuna’s Biggest Grosser ever, beating Manam (37 Cr) and a Blockbuster for all parties involved. It is a tremendous feat by any current senior hero.

Many of the areas Nagarajuna has released on his own. Even for those areas which were sold to local distributors, he minted back majority of the share due to NRA basis agreements. Overall, Soggade Chinni Nayana had turned Gold Mine for Nagarjuna.
