The changed political scene in national politics has become a major irritant for the TDP as regards the selection of MP candidates. Industrialists like Magunta Srinivasulu Reddy and Beeda Mastan Rao are not showing interest to contest the present election. They are under pressure not to earn the wrath of the KCR-Modi regimes in Telangana and India respectively.
TDP boss is asking Siddha Raghava Rao to contest from Ongole MP seat but he is not willing to do so. Then Beeda Mastan Rao is asked to get ready to contest from either Nellore or Ongole. Now business man Pellakuru Srinivasula Reddy is expected to be given Nellore ticket. The TDP leaders and cadres are in utter confusion over the emerging scenario.
The TDP is now afraid this confusion will have an impact on the assembly segments as well. Seeing all this, CM Chandrababu Naidu is taking longer time to get clarity and then move ahead with right choices.
