The fears about tampering electronic voting machines and manipulating electronic voting machines is continuing among TDP leaders. TDP MLA candidate for the Nuzvid Assembly seat Venkateswara Rao lodged a complaint with the Election Commission as it is observed that polling equipment being shifted from strong room without informing the political parties.

It is known news that, polling equipment of the Nuzvid Assembly segment stored in the strong room at Machilipatnam Krishna University campus after election on April 11. Now, TDP leader observed that some EVM machines are shifted by the authorities and they immediately took it to the notice of election commission. There has been fear among TDP leaders about EVM machines being manipulated by YSR CP leaders given the rumours that Jagan has secret pact with centre led by Modi.

Authorities, however, rubbished these fears and said the equipment that have been shifted were either not used on the election day or defective. They have also added that it is very common to shift such unused equipment from strong rooms.
