Citing a Preliminary Opinion Poll on the outcomes of the ensuing GHMC elections, TRS claims that it will win 70 out of 150 divisions in the civic body, followed by MIM in the second position with 42 seats.
Hyderabad: After opening flood gates to the leaders from the Congress, TDP and other parties to join in its party fold, now, the TRS is all set to create making and moulding public opinion in its favor. Going a step ahead and announced that it is going to win 70 divisions in the prestigious Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) elections.
Taking the twitter route and quoting a survey carried out by an agency, the Panchayat Raj and Information Technology Minister K Taraka Rama Rao has claimed that the people of the city are aspiring for the development of the city. And, all sections of people in GHMC region are in favor of us, this reflects in three to four surveys carried out so far, he claimed.
Quoting a recently conducted Preliminary Opinion Polls being carried out by a private agency, KTR projected that the TRS would get 70 out of the total 150 divisions in the GHMC. While the MIM is to be in second position with 42, Congress with 16, TDP 11 and BJP is expected to win a mere 8 seats, leaving three seats to other parties, he said.
