TRS MLA Jeevan Reddy lashed out on TDP and Chandrababu Naidu. Talking on the ‘no-confidence motion’ notice given by TDP in the Lok Sabha, the TRS MLA made moot comments on TDP.
‘TDP is making an unnecessary fuss out of the no-confidence motion. Did TDP consult TRS party over its alliance with BJP in 2014 elections? Did it even approach KCR before serving the no-confidence motion notice in the parliament?’
TDP never supported Telangana Govt. (TRS) in hard times. Then why should we support TDP’s NCM? , questioned Jeevan Reddy.
AIDMK has already stated, it would gain no benefit by supporting letting the no-confidence motion passed in the Parliament. In this juncture, TRS leader’s comments have gained political weight, are likely to irk the TDP camp.
Jeevan Reddy also asked, why TDP is not joining with them in their fight against the Centre. Unless Chandrababu keeps aside his ‘premeditated’ mindset in taking support from TRS, he cannot get the no-confidence motion passed. Few TDP leaders scathe comments on TRS not allowing the house to function properly has galled key TRS leaders, insider sources from Pragathi Bhavan confirmed.
It is time for Chandrababu to change his strategy. Else, he might end up changing his chair from Ruling to Opposition, post the 2019 AP Assembly elections.
