U Turn Overseas Collections

Star actress Samantha Akkineni’s first lady oriented film U Turn has been receiving  decent reviews from audience and critics alike after its release on Vinayaka Chaviti. The film, an official remake of Kannada hit with the same title, has opened to lukewarm collections in overseas. But, the positive reviews and good word of mouth have helped the collections to improve towards the weekend. 

After collecting $ 10K and $ 28K on Wednesday and Thursday, the film notched up $ 59K on Friday and showed strong growth in revenues. Despite limited release and competition from Shailaja Reddy Alludu, the mystery thriller has managed to draw audience in overseas. With the weekend setting in, U Turn is expected to draw good numbers in the next couple of days.  

Samantha impressive performance and the gripping narration are the biggest assets for U Turn. Directed by Pawan Kumar, the film has Aadhi Pinisetty and Rahul Ravindran in crucial roles.
