After a brief hiatus, star hero Victory Venkatesh is back under the arc lights for his next project which is titled Babu Bangaram. Touted to be a funny cop drama, the film is being directed by Maruthi. The regular shooting commenced in December last year and the first schedule has been wrapped up recently.

It is learnt that the makers are looking to wrap up the shoot in less than three months and release it in Summer. The pre release business is expected to be pretty good as Maruthi’s previous film Bhale Bhale Magadivoi registered terrific collections in all areas. Already the Overseas rights of the film were sold for a decent price to a leading distribution company.

Nayanatara is playing the female lead in the film. Suryadevara Naga Vamshee is producing the film on Sitara Entertainment banner. Ghibran is handling the music settings for the film.
