One of the highly anticipated films of the season, Saaho is gearing up for release this August 30th. Director Sujeeth interacted with Telugu media on the eve of new song release.
Speaking about the journey, Sujeeth said Prabhas is a jovial person to work with and it has been a great learning experience doing a big project like Saaho. Reacting on comparisons with Baahubali, Sujeeth revealed that he completed the entire script work of Saaho was completed even before the release of first part and said the humongous success had no impact on him. Sujeeth added that they didn’t try to match the scale of Baahubali but just made sure that they put in everything that is required for the story.
Opening up about the postponement, Sujeeth said they wanted to give more time for VFX team and also to have a solo release at box office. He added that the post production is in full swing and the film will ready for August 30 release. Sujeeth also revealed that there is a good romantic track in the film along with action episodes. About movie making, Sujeeth said Saaho is a novel attempt and will cut across all sections of audience. On choosing multiple music composers Sujeeth said the idea is to have different variations for the songs in album and also to bring out the best work from each of them.
Talking about Prabhas, Sujeeth said he is a gem of an actor with a lot of commitment. He concluded saying that there is one song in Saaho which will be on the lines of Shankar’s grand visual songs.
