Few years back, producers of Mythri Movie Makers paid an advance of 11 Crores to Pawan Kalyan for a project to be bankrolled under their banner. As Pawan was busy with other projects, he deferred their project several times. He promised to fulfill the obligation after completing Agnyaathavaasi. Mythri locked young director Santosh Srinivas for Pawan Kalyan’s film and the pre production work also got underway.
After Agnyaathavaasi, Pawan Kalyan took a sudden plunge into politics and decided to dedicate his time for Janasena completely. As he has got no time for films, he returned a part of advance to Mythri and promised to repay the remaining in six months time. But, he didn’t clear the advance till now. Recently, there were rumours that Pawan will return to films after next elections. However, Pawan’s team quickly scotched the rumours and said that he has no plans to return to films again.
So, it is clear that Pawan’s film with Mythri will no happen. He now needs to return the remaining advance to them. When will he clear it is now the discussion point among industry circles.
