Winner Overseas, Ghazi Overseas

Sai Dharam Tej’s latest commercial drama Winner might have raked decent revenues in both the Telugu states in its first weekend, but it had a poor run at the overseas box office. Its buyers in US are now staring at huge losses in all areas. The lacklustre narration and the clunky script failed to impress the overseas audience and the film registered dismal collections in its first weekend.

Winner managed to collect $ 30K on its premiers day and the number plunged from the next day taking the overall weekend total to a measly $ 81K. Trade circles opine that the distributor won’t be able to recover the expenses. The film was bought for 1.3 Crores.

On the other side, Rana’s multilingual warfare Ghazi is inching towards the $ 700K mark. After having a superb first week, the film collected decent revenues in the second weekend taking the total to $ 683K.
