Yatra is touted to be a tribute to the former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy. Directed by Mahi V Raghav, the film has Mammooty in the role of YSR.
The first teaser of the film has been unveiled and it promises a classy presentation of the historical Padayatra done by YSR which was a defining moment in his political journey making him the Chief Minister of the then united AP state.
The dialogues are goosebump-inducing, the visuals are very rich and the thumping background score elevates the teaser to the next level. The teaser makes it crystal clear that Yatra is all about the Padayatra of YSR who won millions of hearts with his vision and ideologies during his marathon journey covering the entire state.
It ends on a high with Mammooty doing the signature hand gesture of YSR.
All in all, the teaser is a perfect cut hitting the right notes and raising the expectations further on the film.
