Legendary politician and ex-Chief Minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy’s biopic has been titled Yatra and it started rolling recently. With the Assembly elections’ heading soon, Yatra is sure a perfect platform to promote the deeds of late YSR. There are strong speculations that YS Jagan Mohan Reddy invested big on the film. The film kick-started after YS Jagan approved the script.
Now the latest update is that YS Jagan’s team is closely monitoring the happenings on the sets on regular basis. The day to day updates are forwarded to YS Jagan and his team. Though the entire life story of YSR has been planned to be shot initially, the makers later decided to present the before and after consequences of the massive foot-march that brought YSR and Congress to power.
Yatra will not showcase the roles of Chandra Babu Naidu and KCR who are two crucial leaders during the time. On the whole it is YSRCP who is directing Yatra behind the screen. Mahi V Raghav is the director and 70mm Entertainments is producing this prestigious project that will release during Sankranthi 2019.
