Prime Minister Modi presented the sacred soil and water collected from the Parliament premises in New Delhi to chief minister Chandrababu Naidu. While presenting the Kalasham, Prime Minister recited a line of a poem of Mahakavi Sri Sri, s Mahaprastanam and said he was also contributing his might to the construction of capital city Amaravati.
PM recited the line in Telugu ” neenu saitam prajarajadhanini puttamannunu Darapostanu.”
(The original stanza is ” Nenu Saitam Prapanchagniki Samithanokkati Dharapostanu”)
He said the poem was rather appropriate at this solemn occasion. PM Modi appreciated the program ” Mana Matti, Mana Amaravati” and he was proud to be part of the program.
Later union minister Venkaiah Naidu said the PM collected the Puttamannu from Praliament and the water from river Yamuna.
