Telangana Minister of Mining K T Rama Rao vented ire on Congress party for falsely accusing TRS party in Sircilla Sand mining issue and for purchasing of Innova vehicles. Terming Congress as Scamgress, he said that the opposition party is following the “loot, jhoot and scoot” policy. He alleged that it is unfitting for Uttam Kumar Reddy, Digvijay Singh and Jairam Ramesh to speak against him without any proof.

KTR said that in Drugs case, Digvijay is tweeting without any evidences. When the government pursued for proofs, the congress leader allegedly said they do not have any details in this regard.

KTR said that the government purchased 300 Innova vehicles as per the DGSND rates in 2014 as a part of modernisation of police department. He said that the UPA government and the previous state governments have purchased vehicles using the same rates. KTR challenged that if the Congress proves that he owns a company, he would transfer the ownership it to the opposition party leaders. He demanded Jairam Ramesh to immediately apologise.

Speaking about Sircilla sand mafia allegations by Uttam Kumar Reddy, TRS leader said that from year 2007 to 2014, revenue on sand was never beyond Rs 10 crore. But after the TRS government came to power, revenue from sand was Rs 378 crore in 2015 and Rs 600 crore in 2016. He accused the Congress of looting as much as Rs 4000crore in eight years through illegal sand mining. KTR said that around 200 cases were registered in Sircilla district alone to prevent smuggling of sand.

Sircilla TRS MLA KTR said that it is ridiculous to see Congress speaking about welfare of Dalits. He said that the prime accused in the attacks on Dalits was the Congress.
