Ever since the biopic on iconic Telugu actor and politician NTR was announced, audience have been eagerly anticipating to see who will be cast in some of the crucial characters who were part of NTR’s inspiring journey. Basavatarakam, wife of NTR, is one among those pivotal characters in the biopic.
After having tough time in finding the right artist for the role, the makers of this much awaited film have finalized Bollywood actor Vidya Balan. Reports suggest that Vidya Balan has agreed to essay the role of Basavatarakam in this film after having the narration. She will soon sign the dotted line.
In the meantime, preparations are in full swing for the grand launch of the film which will be held on March 29th. Chief Ministers from both Telugu states are expected to grace the event.
Nandamuri Balakrishna is putting in all efforts to make this biopic a memorable one and tribute to his father. The film, to be directed by Teja, chronicles different stages in the life of NTR and Balakrishna is going to don multiple getups to portray them.
