In Telugu politics Pawan Kalyan started new trend of doing ‘Kavathu’ ( Parades) before public meetings. Earlier, his parades at North Andhra and Godavari districts became huge success. Especially his parade in Godavari district seen more than 5 lakh people attending. Today’s parade at Anantapur also became huge success as lakhs of people attended the parade. Janasena Kavathu (parade) started at Gooty road market yard and done till Saptagiri circle. Later Pawan addressed the people gathered in lakhs there.
Communist leaders speeches:
Communist parties supported this parade big time and CPM Madhu and CPI Rama Krishna also spoke at this public meeting. CPM Madhu told Pawan is inspired by Che Guevara ideologies and he is fearless. CPI Rama Krishna told in his speech that, Police are harassing whoever joining Janasena party. In recent times, Madhusudhan of Anantapuram, who joined Janasena, is being harassed by Police as per the instructions from TDP leaders.
Pawan’s speech started on ferocious note:
Pawan, as usual, started his speech on a ferocious note. There have been critical remarks on Pawan that he fears Modi or BJP. Pawan told, there are two meanings for FEAR. One is Forget Everything And Runaway. But there is other meaning that – Face Everything And Rise and he belongs to this second category.
Interesting remarks on Rayalaseema backwardness:
Everyone knows that Rayalaseema is backward compared to Konaseema area. Pawan explained some interesting facts behind this and told that, during British time – Rayalaseema was more prosperous than Konaseema area as per British records prepared by British officers Thomas Manro. So British focused on building projects in Konaseema. But now it has become drought affected area as political power confined to a few families and they didn’t develop the region. He added, this backwardness is frustrating youth of Rayalaseema.
On CBN and TDP leaders:
Pawan once again targeted Chandra Babu Naidu, Lokesh and TDP leaders. He told, as per the bifurcation act, Hyderabad is common capital for AP and TS for 10 years but CBN ran away from Hyderabad after vote for note case. He added, because of CBN’s case people are losing their right of having common capital for 10 years. He also targeted Lokesh and told, the one who doesn’t know anything about Panchayatraj is Panchayat minister now.
He explained that, the main reason for supporting TDP is the corruption of Congress as they looted public money through SEZs. He added that CBN came to his office and urged support. Pawan also told, that he didn’t expect anything in return from CBN except good administration and development in the state, But Chandra Babu failed in all aspects and especially he failed in providing employment. He revealed that even though KIA motors is established at Anantapur, it is not providing even 30% employment to local people.
On YSRCP and it’s leaders:
Pawan again targeted Jagan and said, he ran away from Assembly. He told, while he targets Jagan only on political differences, Jagan always retaliated targeting personal lives of Pawan and his family members. Pawan added, there were many freedom fighters who went to jail and youngsters can get inspired by them but Jagan went to Jail for looting people money and youngsters should never take Jagan as inspiration. He also told that Botsa Satya Narayana is talking too much nowadays and he better watch his words.
He mentioned Tarimella Nagireddy, historical perspective for backwardness of Rayalaseema and several other such points to strike a chord with Rayalaseema people.Overall, Pawan’s parade and speech drew thunderous response from people.
