There is a huge scarcity for lead actors in Telugu cinema. One third of the young and established actors of Telugu cinema have lost their market and fame because of back-to-back debacles. Several new actors are testing their luck and are in struggling phase. Veteran actor Srikanth’s son Roshan made an impressive debut withe Pelli SandaD and he looked promising right from his looks to his performance. He is shooting for a sports drama titled Champion which is in the final stages of shoot.
Srikanth and Roshan have rejected close to 50 scripts in the past one year. Srikanth is extra cautious about the career of Roshan and he is not in a rush. His next project will be finalized and announced only after the release of Champion. Roshan was paid advances by Asian Suniel, Supriya Yarlagadda and S Naga Vamsi. Several young directors are in the race to lock Roshan for their next. Srikanth will take the final call soon. For now, he hasn’t finalized any new film for Roshan. Champion is made on a huge budget and is in making for more than a year.
