Roshan Meka has taken a gap of four years even though his previous film became a hit at the box office to bring Champion. Now, the movie is gearing up for a grand release on 25th December and makers are promoting it big time. Gira Gira, Sallangundale, Club songs have become highly popular while movie trailer showcased the central theme, 1948 Bairanpally revolt.

Roshan went to meet the real villagers of 2025 and interacted with them talking about how the film tries to honor the sacrifice of 90 people killed in the attack of Razakars during night time. The villagers have cordially invite him and interact with him talking about the weaponry, inventory.

They stated how Raji Reddy led the villagers to fight and defend themselves for freedom from Nizam rulers. They also mentioned the famous pillar they have built as memory of all the brave villagers. Roshan promised to them that Champion will be a remarkable tribute as they wish, the film will definitely bring the history, sacrifice behind the village to global limelight.

Priyanka Dutt and Swapna Cinema are producing the film and looking at the real village, we see how well they have marshalled the troops to bring authenticity. Director Pradeep Advaitam has crafted a masterpiece film honoring the sacrifice of an entire village who wanted nothing but freedom from imperialists. Champion is releasing on 25th December worldwide.
