Latest in her list of versatile roles is a Transgender Sex worker. Yes Anjali would be portrayed as a Hijra sexworker in Mammootty’s next. Malayalam films are known for their artistic stories that are very close to reality. Anjali is said to have signed this project with no second thoughts.
Though Anushka, Charmi, Shreya, Kareena and few other top actresses have adorned the roles of a sex workers, this is the first a female would act as a transgender, sex worker. The role sounds quite challenging and sure would be hard to enact. This very factor excited Anjali, Sources say.
