The film, according to the latest trade reports, has equalled the lifetime collections of Aamir Khan’s Dangal in US in just five days. Dangal with $ 12.36 Million is the highest grossing Indian film in US and Baahubali 2 has notched up $ 12.28 Million by the end of 5 days.
After taking a staggering start last Friday with $ 4587K ( including premiers), the epic drama stunned the trade circles with a single day highest grossing Indian film with $ 3497K on Saturday and a massive $ 2334K on Sunday. Dominating the box office on weekdays too, Baahubali 2 garnered $ 591K and $ 1067K on Monday and Tuesday taking the overall collections to $ 12.28 Million.
This is a sensational haul for a regional film at the overseas box office and trade circles are predicting that the film will collect over $ 16 million in its full run.
