The recent poll survey conducted by `Flash Team’ for ABN-Andhra Jyothi channel on the prevailing political scenario in Andhra Pradesh has been raising political temperatures among NDA allays in the state- ruling TDP and BJP. BJP leaders are expressing severe objections to the survey results, which predicted that the alliance would win 120 seats of total 175 assembly seats in the state, if the polls are held now.

However, the survey also predicted that if TDP goes alone, it would get an astonishing number of 140 seats. Thus the survey indicates, allying with BJP would be handicap for TDP. It found the people are said to be angry with BJP due to denial of `special status’ to the state as per its own poll manifesto and also failure in resolve problems at banks after demonetization.

As it is widely believed in the political circles that this survey was plotted by Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s family members only, BJP leaders are suspecting that TDP has been trying to push all `negative impacts’ of its government towards BJP, so that to come itself clean before the public.

BJP floor leader in the state assembly Vishnu Kumar Raju accused that this survey was a `political plot’. Lamenting it as a `paid survey’ and questioning that how TDP can get 140 seats, he indicated that the ruling party is becoming `unpopular’ at very fast.

If the TDP is confident on this survey results, he asked the chief minister to dare by confirming the same. “Then BJP will show how its follow-up action would be”, he threatened.

According to a senior BJP leader, not only people who voted them, even its own MLAs are expressing discontent over the performance of this government. “It was we (BJP) are fearing continuing alliance with TDP would be suicidal by 2019 polls and urging our leadership to permit us to break alliance with this party so that to strengthen our party organisation in the state”, he added.
