Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has delivered yet another festive gift to the people of the state ahead of Diwali, reaffirming his government’s commitment to both public welfare and industrial growth. Ever since the coalition government of the TDP, Jana Sena, and BJP came to power, a steady flow of welfare-oriented decisions has been keeping citizens hopeful and this festive season is no exception.
After recently announcing that the increased Dearness Allowance (DA) for government employees will be implemented from November 1, the Chief Minister has now turned his attention to industrial and economic revival. Chandrababu Naidu chaired a virtual meeting to review the upcoming CII Partnership Summit scheduled for November 14 and 15 in Visakhapatnam, calling it one of the state’s most prestigious events. He emphasized that the summit should not just be a platform for investment deals but a hub for intellectual dialogue, knowledge sharing, and policy innovation in areas such as technology, logistics, and sustainable development. He also revealed plans to invite Prime Minister Narendra Modi, central ministers, other state chief ministers, and leading policy-makers to the event, signalling Andhra Pradesh’s intent to attract national attention and global investment.
In another major decision, the Chief Minister gave a green signal to release long-pending industrial incentives worth ₹1,500 crore. This move, aimed at boosting confidence among entrepreneurs, comes at a crucial time when the state is actively positioning itself as a business and manufacturing hub. The decision has brought immense cheer to the industrial community, which has long awaited relief and recognition. Naidu stated that these measures are part of a broader vision to create an investor-friendly environment that fuels employment, innovation, and economic progress. He reiterated that while the government continues to prioritise welfare for the poor and timely payments to public employees, it is equally focused on empowering business owners who drive the state’s growth engine.
As Andhra Pradesh lights up for Diwali, Chandrababu Naidu’s twin gestures, rewarding public servants and supporting entrepreneurs, have added an extra spark of optimism. His latest decisions have been widely welcomed as signs of a proactive and progressive administration determined to make Andhra Pradesh a model of balanced growth and prosperity.
