The Jangaon district collector Devasena who had been patiently tolerating the tantrums of TRS MLA Muthireddy Yadagiri Reddy has exposed the corruption. She alleged a lot of irregularities in construction of mini tank bund in the district.
Going against Supreme Court orders 5 acres of waterbody was buried, while not more than 2 acres of pond land should be buried. She accused of converting the pond into a swimming pool. She asked details on who did it and related files. There is no mention of this activity anywhere in the files.
The construction of wall in Batukkumma Kunta were done without the involvement of government and without seeking permission against the rules. But after the completion of the work, SE inspected put up and inspection note.
The Collector said that the temple was built on government land. Devasena revealed that a half acre of Shikham land was registered under the name of MLA which she cancelled after she took over charge.
Devasena demanded a report on how the 30 lakhs rupees collected by Walker’s Association was spent who are seeking reimbursement from government. Though MLA did not sign on the documents but allegedly took part in the collection of activity.
The matter was already reported to Deputy Chief Kadiyam Srihari. The government is aware of this issue and the collector asked the government to take action on it.
