Both Congress and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) have expressed complete `disappointment’ over the two and half year’s rule of Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) in Telangana state.

Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President N. Uttam Kumar Reddy has described the first half of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s term filled was defections and not development. He accused that TRS has pushed Telangana backward by many decades and pushed the state into huge debts.

TDP secretary Revuri Prakash Reddy accused that it failed to fulfil its major poll promises. He demanded the government to release white paper on job provision in the state.

While the Congress party has decided to organise a massive dharna at Indira Park on December 20, TDP will be organising a public meeting in Warangal on December 9, to highlight the failures of TRS Government.

Uttam Kumar Reddy slammed the government for not clearing the dues of crop loan waiver scheme, Fee Reimbursement, Indiramma Housing and other welfare schemes. Alleging that Chief Minister failed to identify and address the priority areas, he alleged only focused on glorification of image of himself and his family members.

Revuri said that KCR had promised to provide free KG to PG education and a government job to each household, but neither of the two promises was fulfilled till now. He added. He said that during polls, the TRS chief promised to provide one lakh jobs but failed after coming to power. He said that lakhs of students are under stress due to non-payment of fee reimbursement.

Moreover, Congress chief alleged that KCR had entered into a secret pact with his Andhra Pradesh counterpart N. Chandrababu Naidu to hush up the “Cash for Vote” scam.
