Actor Karthi and Jyotika (Suriya’s wife) are teaming up for the first time for an action thriller which is titled Donga (Thambi in Tamil). Jeethu Joseph is the director and the teaser of the film is out today. The teaser is packed with action and Karthi plays an angry young man in Donga. The film is laced with a strong dose of sister sentiment. Karthi and Jyotika play brother and sister in Donga and Satyaraj plays other crucial roles.
Karthi plays a role with dual shades and the makers kept the audience guessing with the teaser as it is packed with suspense and a backstory. The film is shot across Chennai, Ooty and Goa. Viacom 18 Motion Pictures along with Parallel Minds Production bankrolled this action thriller. The film’s shoot is completed recently and the makers are in plans to release Donga in December this year. Govind Vasantha is the music composer.
