Explosion happened in Rajendra Nagar area of Hyderabad caused death of one person and severe injuries to another. Details as below.
Garbage collecting guy, identified as Ali, opened a polythene cover at Rajendra Nagar on PV Narasimha Rao express highway. The blast happened immediately causing death of Ali. Another person who is nearby got severe injuries and moved to hospital. The incident alerted police, who reached the venue immediately and investigating further. As of now, it looks like the cover was left there during Ganesh nimajjan yesterday. The material causing explosion is yet to be determined but initial reports suggest it could be sort of a small bomb.
Further updates on this issue from police is still awaited but the incident raised concerns regarding security in Hyderabad city.
