Here’s why the Ram-Anil Ravipudi film never worked out

With director Anil Ravipudu proving to be a successful name, thanks to his successful start with Pataas and then an intriguing follow up with Supreme, he’s one director who’s extremely promising.

Clear vision and an unabashed decision to only make commercial cinema has been his goal. It is interesting how he hasn’t walked away from it so far. Anil is making his own brand of cinema where he’s redefining entertainment.

His next was announced with Ram Pothineni, under the production of NTR Arts and Dil Raju. Well, but a recent turn of events have led to a cancellation of the project and Anil has been narrating the story to others, starting with NTR.

But here’s why it didn’t work out.

For starters, we hear that Ram wanted to work with his home production Sravanthi Movies for reasons unknown. It is understood that he has a comfort with the banner because he will have a free hand. It is surprising why he would want to give up working with such huge banners.

Meanwhile, Anil didn’t want to work with the banner which is known to be a bit stingy in terms of their production values.

After they came to an understanding and Ram decided to let go of his wish, it turns out he wasn’t happy with the remuneration offered to him. A lot of deliberations took place and he finally decided to let go.

As much as Ram is riding high on his hit film Nenu Sailaja, he really isn’t in a great phase career wise. This film could have been his much needed boost for him. What do you think? Did he make a wise choice letting it go?
