BJP AP Incharge Sunil Deodhar launched a direct attack on the ruling YCP in Andhra Pradesh. He accused the Jaganmohan Reddy government of taking anti-Hindu decisions ever since coming to power in the state six months ago. Deodhar expressed concern that the YCP Rule is posing a serious danger to Hindu Dharma as a whole. This is the first time that the BJP AP leadership is openly criticising YCP along religious lines.
Sunil Deodhar is known for his controversial statements and aggressive methods to counter the rivals. He is currently in Vijayawada. Senior leaders like BJP AP President Kanna Lakshminarayana have met and discussed with him the future course of action in the state. Afterwards, they launched a blistering attack on the Jagan Reddy Circar.
The direct allegations of anti-Hindu stand against Jagan assumed significance in the wake of Modi Circar recognising Capital City status of Amaravati. Jagan Regime is already checkmated on this issue. No AP Minister is able to issue any comment. The BJP direct attack now may embarrass YCP further. Especially, BJP may intensify its attack on religious conversions, government payments to pastors, reforms in temples and other policies in AP.
