Exhibitors are ready to shell out unreasonable prices for some of the upcoming medium budget films keeping mind the record breaking feat achieved by Pelli Choopulu in terms of return on investment. Telugu360 has learnt that the Avasarala Srinivas’ upcoming multistarrer Jyo Achyutananda has done ridiculously high business, considering market value of the lead cast.
It is heard that distributor has quoted a exorbitantly high price for the overseas rights and the exhibitors didn’t hesitate to write checks. With high stakes on the film, trade circles opined that the film should perform exceptionally well beyond the expectations for break even. The only selling point for Jo Achyutananda is Avasarala Srinivas. Both Nara Rohit and Naga Shaurya are going through a lean patch. They haven’t had a firm hit in recent times. In fact, some of their recent films are placed in our list of all time lowest grossing films in overseas. So, the film should pull off a miracle in overseas to become a profitable venture for the buyers.
Whatever may be the reason, Sai Korrapati has made good pre release business with the film and the trailers and posters generated a decent buzz. Let’s wait and see if it can do some magic at the box office. Jo Achyutananda set for release on this 9th.
