Kabali clears censor scrutiny with ‘U ‘

Rajinikanth’s upcoming action flick, Kabali, is one of the highly anticipated films this season. The film was supposed to hit the screens in Summer, but the release date was deferred a couple of times due to the delay in post production work. After completing all formalities, the first copy was sent for censor scrutiny today afternoon.

According to the latest update from the censor board, the film has been issued a U certificate with no cuts. Thr total runtime is said to be around 152 minutes. With this, the film is all set for a humongous release very soon. Producer Kalaipuli S Thanu is likely to make a formal statement regarding the release date very soon. A lot is riding on the film and the pre release business has touched close to 200 Crores.

Radhika Apte is playing Rajinikanth’s wife in the film which is directed by Ranjith Pa.
