The general public in many parts of AP are surprised as the YSR Congress Party leaders have begun celebrating the victory of TRS chief K Chandrasekhara Rao in Telangana polls. Flexis with photos of Jagan, KCR, KTR and Harish Rao came up in different towns and cities with slogans in praise of TRS chief.
The flexis cropped up in Repalle, Gudiwada, Visakhapatnam, East Godavari and other places where either YCP leaders or Velama community associations celebrated KCR’s victory. It may be recalled the TDP leaders have long been alleging there is a secret understanding between the YCP, TRS and the BJP parties. There are reports YCP and BJP have extended support to TRS in many places in Telangana where KCR came back to power with a landslide majority.
YCP leader Vijaya Sai Reddy has welcomed the verdict of Telangana people, saying it was a big blow to Naidu as he prominently figured in pro-Congress campaign there and that Naidu also proved to be counter productive to Prajakutami alliance. Meanwhile, MIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi has also spoken of campaigning for Jagan in AP. MIM is a friendly party of KCR in Telangana.
While the YCP leaders are making big noise in this respect, the Jana Sena leaders are not making such public display of enthusiasm over TRS victory. The Jana Sena leaders just congratulated KCR and kept silent. The political events after Telangana results have raised a lot of curiosity among people.
