That Malayalam smash hit Premam is remade in Telugu with Naga Chaitanya in the lead is a known news. The shooting is progressing at a brisk pace and the first look poster was out a couple of days ago. The film, which deals with the concept of unrequited love, is being directed by Chandoo Mondeti.
Shruti Haasan and Anupama Parameshwaran are playing the female leads and the latest update reveals that Chennai girl Madonna Sabestian has been officially confirmed to reprise her role from the original in the Telugu version. Initially, a couple of actresses were considered for the ‘Celine’ role in the film, but it was Madonna Sabestine who made the cut. She will join the sets very soon.
Rajesh Murugesan and Gopi Sundar are scoring the soundtrack and Suryadevara Naga Vamshee is bankrolling it on Sitara Entertainment banner.
