Once, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao took a decision it would be difficult for anyone to makes him differ. Even no one dare to speak differently in his party. Even some opposition leaders attempts, there would be no difference. But, now it is evident, Rao too finds it difficult to say `no’ if MIM leader objects.

This was reflected at the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) meeting of the Telangana assembly held today to finalise the agenda for the winter session to be started from tomorrow. As against to the wishes of the government, at the insistence of the MIM, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao agreed to start the session with a discussion on demonetization.

When MIM and Congress propose to discuss on this issue, BJP legislature party leader G Kishan Reddy strongly objected and asked how an issue related to the center to be discussed in the assembly. Chief Minister also supported him stating that the problems related to demonetization are equal to all the states and nothing particular here. Rao even said that why should we need to discuss here when the Parliament is unable to take up a discussion.

However, MIM floor leader Akbaruddin Owaisi insisted that this should be taken up on the first day of the assembly as large number of people suffering. Then Chief Minister also unable to say `no’ to him.

Later, the meeting finalised agenda of the house till December 30. It was decided to function daily from 10 am to 2 pm, for a total working days of 12. When the opposition demanded to have atleast 20 days session, Chief Minister assured to consider to meet one more week starting from January 2. “Let the BAC may meets again on December 30 to decide the agenda for further sittings”, he added.

The issues to be discussed during the session include Mission Kakateeya, Misison Bhagiradha, double-bedroom, Nayaam’s crimes and fees-reimbursement. Finance Minister Etela Rajendra, legislature affairs minister T Harish Rao and Leader of Opposition K Janareddy were also present.
