Star Telugu actor Akkineni Nagarjuna set an example for a good cause by pledging to donate his organs during a mega organ donation drive sponsored by Yashoda Group of hospitals in collaboration with Jeevandan held in Hyderabad on Saturday
Nagarjuna urged the citizens to take a pledge to donate organs and give a new lease of life to the needy. Nagarjuna opined that lack of awareness and false superstitions are acting as hurdles in encouraging the people to come forward and donate the organs. He asked the participants to become superheroes by donating organs.
The event was graced by filmmaker K. Viswanath, badminton player PV Sindhu and few other prominent personalities.
