Sensational director Puri Jagannadh has been struggling for success and he aims a massive comeback with his next film titled Mehbooba. The film re-launches his son Aakash Jagannadh as the lead actor and Neha Shetty is making her debut as the female lead. Top producer Dil Raju acquired the theatrical rights of the film and he is releasing Mehbooba across the Telugu states. The movie got enough momentum and buzz right after Dil Raju has been associated with the project.
Puri and his team have been busy promoting Mehbooba all over along with his team and Dil Raju is taking care of the pre-release activities. The inside news is that Dil Raju did not pay a penny to Puri and he is just releasing Mehbooba through his distribution house. The ace producer will share the profits of the film without investing a rupee which is a safe deal. On the flipside, Puri is investing huge amount on the promotions and will take the entire risk of Mehbooba.
Mehbooba is set in the backdrop of 1971 India – Pak war and is produced by Puri Jagannadh Touring Talkies. We have to wait to see if Puri recovers back his investments on Mehbooba and bounces back to big league.
