CHICAGO – The NRI Telugu Desam Party (TDP) Chicago chapter organized a spirited event on Sunday, January 25, 2026, to celebrate the birthday of Andhra Pradesh Minister for IT, Electronics, and HRD, Nara Lokesh. While the young leader’s actual birthday fell on Friday, January 23, the community chose to hold the grand celebration over the weekend.
The event was marked by high energy and enthusiasm as gathering of party sympathizers, and community leaders came together to cut a celebratory cake adorned in TDP colors. The hall echoed with chants of “Jai Lokesh” and “Jai Telugu Desam,” reflecting the diaspora’s unwavering support for the state’s leadership.
Celebrating a “Growth Engine”
Speakers at the event highlighted Nara Lokesh’s transformation into a dynamic mass leader and a key “growth engine” for Andhra Pradesh. Organizers praised his recent initiatives to attract global investments and his vision for creating employment opportunities for the youth.
