AP Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy announced very grandly that he would take just one rupee salary and take all steps to save the public money every way possible to set right AP’s hopeless financial situation. But, he is freely breaking his own assurances and promises. Now, nearly Rs. 1.5 Cr is being spent on just the annual maintenance costs of Jagan Tadepalli residence. All this money is for just keeping the premises clean, checking electrical supply, etc. Recently, Rs. 1.9 Cr was towards this and other maintenance works relating to Jagan house.
Though Tadepalli residence is Jagan’s personal property, this house is being used as CM Camp Office. On this pretext, already Rs. 16 Cr was spent for providing furniture and some facilities there since YCP came to power. Now, huge amounts are being taken away in the name of maintenance.
What more, Rs 35 lakh of AP people’s money is spent on the maintenance and facilities at Jagan Lotus Pond residence in Hyderabad city. This house is being used during Jagan trips to Telangana Capital during Fridays. This is additional burden on the AP exchequer. These days, Jagan is not visiting Hyderabad much after he got differences with CM K Chandrasekhar Rao.
