After Sankranthi and Summer, the most preferred season for releasing big ticket films in Tollywood is the Dusheera festival. This year, Nandamuri Balakrishna’s upcoming film in Puri Jagannadh’s direction has locked September 29th as its release date. Though no other biggie is poised for release in Dusheera as of now, it is likely that Balakrishna will face a stiff competition from alteast one among Pawan, NTR and Charan.
Pawan Kalyan‘s film with Trivikram Srinivas will flag off shortly. The plan was to release the film in August. But, reports reveal that the film might not make it to screens in August, instead,it is likely to release for Dusheera.
NTR’s Jai Lava Kusa, which is currently on floors, is also looking for release in the second half of 2017. If the film misses out on August release,chances are likely that it might release for Dusheera.
On the other side, Ram Charan’s film with Sukumar is also in the fray. The film, which will go on floors shortly, is aiming for Dusheera release, too.
So, it is likely that alteast one among these three films will battle it out with NBK’s flick during the Dusheera festival. It remains to be seen how the makers of these films plan their release dates so that all of them get ample time to perform at the box office.
